p363 [G Biava] [To the same] [From the Italian.] Here is the end of the Notes on Acts. I am not satisfied, but I hope they have been useful; as to myself, I have profited by them. It has been sweet to me, and useful, to follow the phases of the Lord's work to the beginning. They are the history of the preaching of the gospel by Peter; then freely, and by Paul, the action of the Spirit of God, which was straitened by Judaism - the continual enemy of the truth of Christ. The more we study the history of the beginning of Christianity, the better we understand where the conflict is at all times.

Your affectionate brother.
